This disclaimer applies to all users of the Investment Cost Calculator (the “Calculator”) provided by the Suriname Investment and Trade Agency (SITA). By accessing and using the Calculator, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

The Investment Cost Calculator is provided as an informational tool only. It is designed to provide users with a general, preliminary estimate of potential business establishment and operational costs in Suriname based on user-provided inputs and SITA’s research data. The Calculator is not intended to provide professional financial, legal, tax, or business advice.

General Information Only

The Calculator provides estimates and general information only. While SITA has conducted research to inform the data used in the Calculator, the estimates provided are approximations and may not reflect actual costs. Market conditions, exchange rates, regulatory changes, and other factors may cause actual costs to differ significantly from the Calculator’s estimates.

Not Professional Advice

The Calculator does not constitute professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, or business consulting. User Due Diligence Required

While SITA has made reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of data used in the Calculator, SITA makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the Calculator or the information it provides. Data may be outdated, incomplete, or subject to change without notice.

No Liability for Investment Decisions

SITA shall not be held liable, directly or indirectly, for any investment decisions made by users based on information provided by the Calculator. Users assume all risks associated with their reliance on the Calculator and any resulting business decisions.

No Liability for Damages

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SITA shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of the Calculator, including but not limited to:

• Loss of business opportunities
• Loss of data or information
• Business interruption
• Personal injury or property damage
• Any other economic loss or damage

This limitation applies regardless of the cause of action, whether in contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise, and even if SITA has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

No Warranty

SITA provides the Calculator on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of third-party rights.

By using the Calculator, users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SITA, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to:

• The user’s use of the Calculator
• The user’s reliance on information provided by the Calculator
• The user’s investment decisions based on the Calculator
• Any breach of this disclaimer by the user
• Any violation of applicable laws or regulations by the user
• Any third-party claims related to the user’s use of the Calculator

SITA reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue the Calculator at any time without notice. SITA is not responsible for any consequences resulting from changes to the Calculator or its discontinuation.

This disclaimer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Suriname. Users agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Suriname for any disputes arising from or related to the Calculator.

If any provision of this disclaimer is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

This disclaimer constitutes the entire agreement between the user and SITA regarding the use of the Calculator and supersedes all prior negotiations, representations, and agreements.
